The Qbwc1085 Error is a Web Connector Error generally been found when a user is trying to establish a QB enterprise solution or during start his or her computer. Well, if your data file is connected to a third-party application that uses Web Connector, then you may want Web Connector to stay in the Startup menu. In this situation, what you have to do is to rename the QWCLOG.TXT file to get such an error sorted out soon. To rename the file, you should follow the below guidelines:
· First close completely out of QuickBooks and Web Connector.
· Then, navigate to: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QBWebConnector\log.
· Afterward, rename the QWCLOG.TXT to QWCLOGOLD.TXT.
· Once you have successfully renamed the file, re-open Web Connector
· Thereafter, restart your PC, open QuickBooks, and log in again to your third-party application to check if the issue has been resolved.
Solution 1: Make sure to connect the company file to the third party program
The first thing to do is to click on the Windows + R keys simultaneously.
After that, run window will pop up on the screen.
After this type MSConfig and then hit OK button.
Next, you have to hit a click on Startup tab.
Once done search and mark the checkbox for QuickBooks web connector.
After that, click on the Apply option and then also tap on OK button.
The final step is to restart the computer and also check out if the QuickBooks web connector error gets fixed or not.
Solution 2: Change the name of QWCLOG.TXT file
The first and foremost thing to do is to open the task-bar and then right click on the QuickBooks Web Connector icon.
After that, click on the Exit option followed by opening the Windows File Manager.
Once done, visit the C:\Program Data\Intuit\QBWebConnector\log folder.
Now hit a right click on the QWCLOG.TXT file and then opt for the rename option.
After this change the name to QWCLOGOLD.TXT and hit on the Save option.
Once you are done with that you have to reboot the we connector program.
The final step in this method is to reboot the computer and the reopen the software.
